The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of events. We finished another semester of ministry in El Oasis, had a team retreat to discuss and evaluate the year, and I am currently writing this from Lilburn, Ga. This Monday night at 10:15 for my 10:15 flight, we were frantically putting our shoes on after the security checkpoint and sprinting through the Santiago airport with an airport worker running alongside, guiding us to the airplane that was about to take off. Thankfully I was able to get on a flight my first try, with a standby pass, but not without at least a little bit of drama and last minute notice to make it interesting.
I’ll be around the Atlanta area from December 12th until January 5th before heading back to Santiago. I’d love to be able to share more about this year with you in person, grab a coffee, and spend time together while I’m in the states. The photo featured in this update is of all of the guys in our end of the year banquet, BAFA. It was a great time to celebrate the year together and look back over all that God has done in this ministry in the past year. I look forward to seeing you!
